Winding up the season

Red_sox_yankees_logo_3

Yankees/Red Sox on! Don't tell me the score - I just got home so I TIVO'ed it.

Right about now everyone gets fired up about the football season starting when baseball is just getting good. Of course if you don't have a team in the running, the season is pretty much over anyway.

Do you enjoy watching a team sporting event if you have no personal interest in the outcome?

I love baseball and basketball playoffs. Sure, it's more fun when your team is in the hunt for the title, but good playoff tension is what makes it great no matter who is playing.

I'm still hoping the Yankees can close the gap. ;)

Good game today for you then. Mr. Moustache put on a performance. (Watched via computer)
If the Yanks don't make it (and they won't, sorry to say), who would you pull for next? And don't say the Rays!

I LOVE playoff time and the World Series. It makes me feel close to my Mom who was a HUGE baseball fan. Kind of a nostalgic thing. I am a "fickle fan" though....have no idea who is in the playoffs yet and don't decide who to rout for until later down the road...

Go .................

Cubs, because I can always put on my Harry Caray autographed hat and still hope to say "CUBS win! CUBS win!"
